Mommy & Me Awakening & Aligning the Root Chakra Yoga Event

Our 90min yoga session, led by Positive Ashley to help heal and balance the Root Chakra (Mūlādhāra) located at the perineum/base of the spine, which is most closely associated with your physical energy.

Join us monthly for this event!

The Root Chakra is the chakra of stability, security, trust, sense of belonging, physical sensation, vitality and Earth connection.

The Root Chakra is the centre for the unconscious or instinctive life and is related to our basic survival instinct. The first chakra can trigger issues about money, your home and job.

This workshop is an invitation to experience practices that include the Gratitude Meditation, Energy Alignment and Reiki Healing, the grounding and energy awareness exercises, yoga poses that center the root and relaxation techniques.

As a yoga practitioner, Positive Ashley introduces gentle warm-up activities (body-oriented exercises). This interactive workshop includes journaling, story telling and it is a fantastic opportunity to meet new people and uplift your spirit in a supportive and non-judgmental environment. It aims to help you re-centre, align your balance and feel your own sense of authority.

In a broad sense, grounding aims at helping a person become more fully identified with his animal nature by creating a ‘natural body’, forming new roots and a nurturing self-fullness. With courage and creative reflection often we can increase our sense of play, trust and spontaneity.

For the Mothers:
We know how often mothers put themselves last. This “Mommy & Me” format was created with you in mind — so you don’t have to choose between self-care and caring for your little one. Bring your baby or young child and move together in an environment that celebrates motherhood, presence, and rest. Our session encourages gentle interaction and mindful movement, allowing you to reclaim your grounding energy while modeling wellness, peace, and connection for your child.

Through courage, creative reflection, and play, we’ll cultivate trust, spontaneity, and the joy of simply being — both as individuals and as mothers rooted in love.

Please bring your own: towel, water, and yoga mat.

This event will also be available to participate in online!
